Hi everyone,
I have been a consultant to the EU institutions specialised in online comms since 1995 (more). Last week I was in Berlin at EuroskyLive presenting how 3 types of organisation in particular can get better value out of ATproto than legacy social media: news orgs, public sector, and scientific institutions (the video’s at the bottom of this post). You’ll see that I am developing ATconnect.eu to help organisations realise that value; my business partner is Bart-Jan (@schuman.de), who joined this thread earlier.
Science is my top priority of these 3 sectors, partly because I originally trained in physics and then became a science journalist, and partly because my most important client is currently the EU Commission’s science department, the Joint Research Centre. My client is very keen on integrating the platform I manage for them into the wider ATmosphere.
Finally, I also want myhub.ai, a blogging/bookmarking/personal-portfolio platform I launched 5 years ago, to evolve into a cross-protocol collective intelligence system - see this very rough, and so unlisted video.
