I’ve started work on a wiki describing differences between the “original” specification of the AT Protocol in Bluesky PBC’s 2024 paper, and current usage of the protocol/overall state of the ecosystem.

I’m hosting it on Lichen, which stores wiki metadata and page edits as records on the PDS. Until I can configure the wiki to allow for open contribution, message me and I’ll add you to the contributor list. Talk pages are available, as well as a style guide.

The style of this wiki was inspired by a prior document exhibiting differences between the Bitcoin paper and the Bitcoin implementation.

Very interesting! Thanks for sharing and getting started on this work.

We have the somewhat stale atproto.wiki due in part to no ATProto login - @baldemo.to did a huge amount of work there. B we should figure out what we want to do there.

Definitely should take a closer look at lichen. I tinkered a bit and it seemed an interesting direction.

Hey yeah! I had been toying a month or two ago with the idea of using MediaWiki for a new, better-scoped and better-integrated wiki, but haven’t had much time to fiddle with it due to other obligations. Excited to see where this goes!

I wrote a note describing some slight similarities between the AT Protocol and the first hypertext project, Xanadu.
