Beyond bsky post lexicon moderation

Starting a thread to gather resources about moderation of non-bsky lexicon content.

Feel free to ask specific questions or put links and resources here as comments.

Context: moderation tooling like Ozone is designed to work with the bsky post content, as well as lists, profiles and other items all of which are in the bsky namespace.

Other lexicons like Leaflet or Smoke Signal have different content fields and need to either extend Ozone or build their own tools.

The automod by @offline.mountainherder.xyz can do this, see thread:

I think a lot of the problems are going to be more around what sort of moderation policies need to apply to specific schemas, i.e., how can they be abused?

Anything with facets which triggers mentions can certainly be abused, anything which points to another resource (knots for example) can be abused, where the server acts maliciously differently than it should.

Then there’s all the textual and media content that can be used for abuse. Some of that *might* be stopped at PDS infrastructure level, or at relay level, but you may also need it for CDN infrastructure, or app view layer stuff.

If I understand Coop from ROOST correctly, it’s going to be multi-modal for content types, though I haven’t personally played with it yet.
