The Community Fund has a number of resources including:
- a bare metal server in Canada at OVH
- shared services on the Commons Computer Cloudron managed by Boris / DWebYVR
- this Discourse Forum, paid for by @ngerakines.me currently and running on Digital Ocean
- various domain names
- a Railway accout where the conference is hosted
- a Cloudflare account
This new category is for shared usage of these resources, as well as looking at coordinating and collaborating on other community infrastructure.
OVH Server
The OVH server has been setup by @schuyler.info and managed by Proxmox to be able to hand out VPS of various sizes.
We are going to make a call for who wants to have space on the server for projects of different kinds, as well as migrating things like this forum, the conference website, and we’ll see what else there.
We’ll be sharing public documentation for this setup here, as well as onboarding people to a private Infra Users group.
Also: if you have proxmox experience (or general docker/sysadmin and would like to learn proxmox), it would be great to have at least one other person to partner with @schuyler.info. Leave a comment if you’re interested!
