IETF hotel is Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth, 900 René-Lévesque Blvd W - but doesn’t have to be close to there.

With the BOF on Wednesday morning, we may just want to wrap things earlier in the week?

I had noted ECTO: https://ecto.coop/en/rent-a-room/ $350/day, plus $95 maintenance.
I said it may not be available, but I misread the date, so the possibility is back on the table.

I am also asking CRIM: Location d'espaces d'affaires - CRIM for their rates, more to come.

Confirming ECTO is available at that price for those two days. Let me know how you feel about confirming, are you still looking for options, etc.

Hi all, my friends at Cafe Nocturne are able to accommodate us for those dates. Typically they don’t charge a fee as long as we get enough people buying stuff. I’ll confirm that this is the case! Edited the OP to add it

Very cool! Can we use it during the day or is this just for the evening?

Most likely just after they close (6pm onwards). But I’m aware they let groups book out most of the space during the day. We could use that for e.g. coworking.

OK! Evening is nice as a gathering, can you check with them on what a day rate would be for Monday/Tuesday - that’s what we need right now.

Just to confirm that we have booked a small room at ECTO for all of Monday and Tuesday, so this is where we’ll meet. See you all soon!

Just so you know: There will be a public transit strike those days. There will be service on peak hours (exact time TBD) so I do not see reasons to change our plans; but be aware it will be more difficult to come at random times during the day.
